Crawford Connor
EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATIVE PASTOR
I am a native of Eckhart, Maryland and graduated from
Southeastern College in Lakeland, Florida with a Bachelor
of Arts and Ministerial/Pastoral Degree. While attending
Southeastern, I served as Business Manager and Financial
Aid Director for 10 years. I also served on the ministerial
staff at the South Carolina District of the Assemblies of
God.
Before moving my wife, Elaine, and family to Lakeland,
Florida to attend Southeastern College, I worked at
Frostburg National Bank in Frostburg, Maryland and received
a banking degree from the University of Maryland School of
Banking.
I have also acquired a Florida Insurance 220 license while
working as a Financial Officer/Business Administrator for a
local insurance company, as well as an Assisted Living
Administrator Certificate.
My goal as Executive Administrative Pastor at Winter Haven
Worship Center is to be diligent in my work ethic and be a
blessing to my son, Jeff Connor, the Senior Pastor of
Winter Haven Worship Center.

Connor
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Originally from Princeton, West Virginia, our family moved
from Maryland to Lakeland, Florida in 1979 so that my
husband, Crawford, could attend Southeastern College. I was
attending Allegany Community College in Cumberland,
Maryland when we decided to move to Florida. Over the past
28 years, I have worked as a realtor, executive secretary,
legal secretary and administrative assistant in the
Lakeland area.
For the past five years, I have had the awesome privilege
of working at Winter Haven Worship Center.
I have always felt called into the ministry, and I am truly
watching my dream come alive as I serve at Winter Haven
Worship Center.
Jason
and Michelle Hughes
ASSOCIATE PASTOR
Jason Hughes began attending Haines City Worship Center
about five months after the church began on March 3, 1991.
He was born and raised in Haines City and was at that time
a Junior at Haines City High School. From the first service
he attended, he was supernaturally touched by the Spirit of
God as Pastor Jeff ministered the Word of God. Eventually
after sitting under the ministry of Pastor Jeff, Jason
became involved in areas of the church including ushering,
children's ministry, and youth. After God's plan came to
pass for Haines City Worship Center to move and become
Winter Haven Worship Center, Jason became the Youth Pastor
for WHWC.
On August 18, 1997, Jason was hired full time at WHWC.
After serving as youth pastor for five years, Jason is now
an Associate Pastor of WHWC. Pastor Jeff has given him the
title of "Care Pastor" as Jason helps to care for the
people and make visitations to the hospital when needed. As
an Associate Pastor, it is Jason's heart’s desire to assist
Pastor Jeff in fulfilling the plan and purpose of God for
Winter Haven Worship Center.
Jason is married to Michelle Hughes who is currently the
children’s director of High Voltage and Kids Zone.
Tim and Gay Lynn Clark
Associate Pastor
Tim Clark and his family began attending WHWC in 1994.
Growing up in church all his life he has been involved in
many areas of ministry including working with youth, young
married and small home groups. In 2000 Tim joined the staff
of WHWC and was sent to Pastor Lake Wales Worship Center
where he pastored for 3 years. Currently, Tim serves as an
Associate Pastor and is the Life Connect Coordinator for
WHWC. As an Associate Pastor, Tim’s desire is to see the
body of Christ here at WHWC continue to grow and reach its
full potential in the Polk County area as well as abroad.
Tim is married to Gay Lynn Clark an Administrative
Assistant at WHWC. Tim and Gay Lynn have two sons, Justin
and Hunter.
Tim
and Ashley Lucena
STUDENT MINISTRIES PASTOR
Timothy Lucena began attending Winter Haven Worship Center
in 2004. For many years prior to this, he led worship at
his father’s church in Orlando, Florida. Tim has a
Bachelors of Science in Pastoral Ministry from Southeastern
University. During his teen years, Tim felt the call of God
on his life specifically in the area of youth ministry. His
passion for this generation to experience the changing
effects of Jesus Christ continues to deepen each day. Tim
also has a passion for music and worship. True worship is
the cry of this generation that is seeking genuine
experiences with God. Tim feels he has a calling and
commitment to lead this generation into true worship. Tim
is married to Ashley Lucena, who is currently a full-time
teacher and coach at All Saints’ Academy in Winter Haven,
FL. Tim and his wife, Ashley, are a great asset to the
Winter Haven Worship Center staff.
Stephen and Whitney Robles
MUSIC & MEDIA DIRECTOR
Stephen Robles is originally from New York where he led
worship at Faith Assembly of God, Poughkeepsie. In 2004 he
began attending Southeastern University majoring in Trumpet
Performance. It was at Southeastern that Stephen met his
wife, Whitney Robles. They recently got married and
graduated from Southeastern University with degrees in
music. Throughout his college career, Stephen saw God
leading him to a place where music would be a large part of
his life. Coordinating the music department of a church has
been a longtime dream of Stephen, and with God's help he
hopes to do this at Winter Haven Worship Center. His vision
for the worship team is to include more diverse styles of
worship and create an atmosphere that invites the presence
of God. Stephen also fully manages the church website,
video production, and other media projects.
Gene & Jeanne Hackworth
MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
Gene and Jeanne
Hackworth began attending Haines City Worship Center in the
fall of 1992. Shortly thereafter, Gene joined the Music
Team as Haines City Worship Center’s first percussionist
and Jeanne became involved in the Children’s Department.
Gene also started taking on various maintenance projects
for the church. Over the years, Gene worked for the church
on a part-time basis until early 2009 when he came on board
full-time as Winter Haven Worship Center’s Maintenance
Supervisor. Jeanne also joined the staff of Winter Haven
Worship Center to assist Gene with the maintenance duties.
Gene was born in Tennessee and is a Veteran of the U.S.
Military. Jeanne hails from the great state of Minnesota.
Gene and Jeanne were married in 1989 and have one child, a
son named Michael.
Kevin
Williams
ASSOCIATE MINISTER OF MUSIC
Kevin Williams started attending Haines City Worship Center
in June of 1991, only three months after the church began.
He was raised in Bartow and graduated from Bartow Senior
High School in 1987. In April of 1992 Kevin was asked to
start playing the piano for the church praise and worship
services. In August of 1994, Haines City Worship Center
moved and then became Winter Haven Worship Center. Kevin's
desire is to help carry out the vision that God has given
to Pastor Jeff for the church and to help prepare an
atmosphere through praise and worship for God's Spirit to
move in every service. It is also his heart for people to
have a true worship experience when they attend WHWC.
